Yes, both voices are done by me but I edited one of the voices so it would sound like 2 people are having a conversation. I know I sound stupid, please ignore that fact.

Hello! It's a beautiful Wednesday afternoon in class and I would like to add on that I did more photoshopping yesterday.
Hmm, I am not allowed to post most of the pictures which I photoshopped because Edward will skin me alive, so not to risk that from happening .. I shall not.
I used some screenshots from a music video which I thought was pretty artistic.

I also finished my logo! I used basic shapes to vector out my cameras!
And here is proof that I actually used shapes and not cheat on the image or whatsoever. Look at all the beautiful layers. Hoho!

Image Editting updates! + Final Piece

Backtrack to Image editting, I finished it! Hoho!
But I did some editting examples as well. I will edit this post and put more photoshop pictures up!
Here are the examples first :

Lady Gaga! I feel so bad to edit the picture and make her so ugly.
Yes, I used my eyes and my mouth on this. I did not photoshop my eye colour because I was indeed wearing blue and red contacts on each eye.
I actually took it from one of my cosplay pictures. HAHAHA! Will upload original picture once i photoshop my ugly eye bags away. ugh

A camwhore with me and boyfriend! Hahaha!
Nah, actually I just photoshopped myself next to him. Gosh, he's so handsome!
Because I was actually quite inspired by Joanne photoshopping herself next to Yoochun so I did the same too! You wouldn't want to know the name of this JPEG file! HAHA!

Okay, Here's a perfectly normal picture which I photoshopped.

This is my trial for my Image Editting picture which I didn't use in end because both pictures don't make any sense so I made another one which I succeeded thus, added layers of selective colours and colour balance to achieve the effect.

Yeap! It's done! Actually it was done last week except that I was lazy to post it up.

Last week was our field trip which Yoke yoke organised. It was to visit 8Q which is somewhere near the Singapore Arts Museum(SAM) and we just totally got lost going there.
I actually never knew such place existed! To my surprised, the building looks pretty new!

They have 5 exhibitions and the first one we visited was Jason Lim's LAST DROP.
I thought it was a pretty normal exhibition until I realised that the chairs and tables are balancing on glass cups. Not 4 on each ends but 3! And there were videos of Jason Lim himself sitting on the chair playing with water. I guess that he was trying to convey the message of art using the power of gravity.

I don't have much recollections of the other exhibitions so I will briefly skip through except for the erm, explicit one. The second exhibition we went was by Choy Ka Fai. And it was entitled RETAGULAR DREAMS. I don't pretty much get it and the thing that caught my attention was the 3 big flat screen monitor stacked up vertically and each showing an image of a head, body and legs repectively. So it practically looks like a full human. That "lady" which I cannot confirm was Choy Kai Fai herself was introducing the slides which were projected onto the screen about houses, families etc.

Then we headed to the 3rd exhibition which was the worst one, including the fact that I was pretty traumatised by it. It's by Ming Wong and it was entitled ANGST ESSEN/EAT FEAR. Disturbing like hell! Not only does it scares me because of the explicit part of the video but also the fact that the actor himself ... was not pretty enough to pass off as a woman. Oh the humanity. So each and every person in the video was acted by the same guy even the woman. Which means he cross-dressed. It was actually pretty obvious that he recorded the parts of the video many times and each time he does it, he would dress up as another character. He uses a blue screen for this video and to be truthful, the background looks very very fake. Except for the props which he uses are real. And there was a part which the man was dancing with the lady, we could also see the "errors" in exposing the lady's face (it was not him) as he could not possibility use a blue screen to double cross the videos. I picked up quite amount of German words watching this video, for example "Habibi" which meant My Love and "Gurren Tagg" which means Good Day. Also spotted a few of german words which I knew like "Mein Gott"; I pretty much used that while typing forums whenever I would want to say .. OH MY GOD?

FALSE SECURITIES by Zaulkifie Mahmod was pretty much straightforward as the headphones allow us to hear the surroundings of the places in the countries. Didn't spend much time here because everyone was chasing us out and giving us a good scare when we entered the soundroom.

The Last one we visited was WHITE GREEN by Sookoon Ang. It also didn't much make sense or maybe I was lazy enough not to check out what it means as everyone was busy lying around the fake grass patches and snapping group photos! It's basically a room filled with fake grass patches and a few boxxed televisions showing videos.

It's not quite easy as I have to make sure each of the tunes would sound perfectly nice when putted together

In class again! Playing with Illustrator which I don't know nuts about it.
Shipeng just stood next to me and told me he's GAY.

Tried drawing squares and I had a very hard time.
I don't think I will be using Illustator much and more of Photoshop because I think Photoshop is easier. Here's the excerise that I've done.

I'm in class right now and I played with photoshop again to edit Dali's face.
Which also includes his cat! Here's the end result, and I shall be doing more
stuff with photoshop, perhap colouring.

Photoshop and Google maps

I started out playing with google map as it was assigned to us last thursday.
I only played with it on friday because i was not free on saturday and sunday because of cosplay events.

I marked out the places which are good for phototaking, which I only started to mark those which are around the city hall area. I have places which I would mark including sunsetway, the KL train tracks which i would love to visit there one day for a photoshoot!

I lugged out my DSLR on saturday to a cosplay event andtook pictures of cosplayers.
it was my second time which I went to an event as a photographer because most of the time, I'm the cosplayer.
I have to say that there were many photographers at the event and most of them were DSLR users. it then stuck me regarding my facebook group about DSLR versus Digital camera.
I brought my digital camera on sunday because I was cosplaying and I didn't want any inconvience and it could easily slip it into my back pocket and take photos when ever I want.
I have to say that the photos I took with my digi camera were rather horrible because I cannot set the camera ISO high enough to produce a nice and yet less noisy looking picture.
I would love to post a picture for comparision but I do not want because they are pretty much pictures of me and my team members and my cosplay friends which I do not wish to spoil anyone's eyes with my unglamness. snort.

today yokeyoke's task for us is to use photoshop!
and since I had raw photos from saturday's cosplay event, I shall be editing sooner or later because I helped my friends to take pictures thus I would have to send them their pictures. as you can see by the above picture, I use layers while editing the photos and I like to add more saturations to my photos after use softlight and desaturating them. here are some of the end results after editing :

WELCOME TO MY NOT SO SAVOURY BLOG.
which is suppose to be an update site for my school module digital media fundamentals.

So I created my Facebook group account yesterday and it was entitled :
"An awesome photographer is not identified by his/her camera!"

Who says a photographer could be judged by the camera he or she uses?
Who says profession photographers are the ones behind a DSLR?

Creativity comes from the person using the gear and if they know how to get the best out of the gear they are using then good results will happen. DSLRs are not a magic bullet towards creativity.
